Effects of Thermotherapy and Sanggido Therapy on Human Physiology

Abstract
Through the heat injection management to treat the abdominal obesity and the pains due to coldness, the effects of the thermotherapy and sanggido therapy on the human physiology was researched. The changes of body temperature through diverse heating therapies were measured and compared with each other. As the result, the heating therapy with highest temperature raise in the shortest time was the lower-body bathing, which had the temperature change of 1.2oC. In the heat duration, the longest one was the heat injection method of 4 hr 30 min. When the therapeutic effects of heat injection for 13 clinical subjects were analyzed, 10 or about 80% of subjects showed the relief of pain or restoration to normal. In the treatment efficiency of heat injection, the improvement started from 2nd treatment among 10 time treatments, and the healing started from 4th one. Before the heat injection treatment, the blood pressures of left/right fingers were measured to diagnose the functional improvement of five viscera and six entrails. As the result, while the blood pressure at both of systolic and diastolic periods got lower in the reference group, it got higher in the treated group. This means the injected heat had some influence on the functional activation of internal organs. In the change of human body before and after the heat injection which were made 10 times during 80 days, the heat injection turned out to have good effect in obesity treatment. The blood pressure dropping effect and the temperature raising effect were also shown. In the physiological change through the blood test before and after the heat injection, WBC, PLT and MCV dropped in the clinical group while RBC, Hct, Hb, MCH and MCHC increased. In the cardiovascular and lipid test, the heat injection tended to lower neutral fats, LDL cholesterol and HDL cholesterol. In the kidney test, about 69% of subjects showed the decrease of creatinine after the heat injection. So, the heat injection turned out to have influence on the kidney function. In conclusion, the heat injection therapy had good influences on the physiological change such as the elevation of body temperature, the functional activation of internal organs, the treatment of diseases and the decrease of abdominal obesity. This clinical result of heat injection therapy seems to be helpful for the fundamental treatment of several diseases in the future.
